Polished Nail System

Natural Nail Preparation

Step 1 - Push back the cuticle with a thin board. Lightly buff the shine from the natural nail.

Step 2- Spray Strata Nail Prep solution on the natural nail and allow to dry. This will dehydrate the natural nail.

Step 3 - Choose the method of acrylic application you prefer...

Tip Overlays

Step 1 - Prepare the natural nail (steps 1 & 2 above).

Step 2 - Select proper size tip for each fingernail. File the edges for the perfect fit. Shape free edge of the natural nail, to match the smile line of the tip.

Step 3 - Apply a small amount of glue evenly across the overlap area on the tip. Slide the tip onto the natural nail and hold for 30 seconds or until tightly bonded.

Step 4 - Gently buff the seam of the tip until it blends with the natural nail. Shape and rough up entire tip surface.

Step 5 - Apply Strata primer to the natural nail only. Use sparingly.

Step 6 - Following the instructions and photographs, apply the colored acrylic and finish the nail.

Step 3 - Apply Strata primer to the natural nail. Use sparingly.

Step 4 - Following the instructions and photographs, apply colored acrylic and finish the nail.

Fill-Ins

Step 1 - Prepare the natural nail (steps 1 & 2 above).

Step 2 - Apply Strata primer to the natural nail. Use sparingly.

Step 3 - Following the instructions and photographs (starting with photograph #4, apply the colored acrylic and finish the nail.

Color Changes

To Change Colors while filling in new growth

Step 1 - Thin the existing colored acrylic as much as possible.

Step 2 - Prepare the natural nail (steps 1 & 2 above).

Step 3 - Apply Strata primer to natural nail. Use sparingly.

Step 4 - Following the instructions and photographs, apply a different colored acrylic and finish the nail.

To change colors with nail enamel

Step 1 - Choose a different color of polish.

Step 2- Simply polish over existing color with one or more coats of new polish.
